As the Head of P&O International Logistics, you will be responsible for HR across 25+ logistics sites (Hubs, Spokes, and Return Centres) throughout Europe. You will closely collaborate with senior business leaders such as the Director of 3PL Warehouses, VP, and SVP of Logistics to establish strong partnerships with our service providers, develop HR standards, and drive excellence across multiple countries.
You will lead an international team of senior HR professionals across five countries, with 5 direct reports and a total team size of 10. Reporting to the Director of P&O Business Engagement, you will be a key part of the P&O leadership team, responsible for shaping the HR strategy in our International Logistic Warehouses.
In this role, you will focus on attracting, retaining, and developing diverse global talent, while working closely with senior business leaders to ensure the organisation’s growth and operational health. You will also drive the adoption of new technologies to support talent acquisition and development, ensuring long-term business scalability.
A willingness to travel up to 20% is required for this role.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
You lead an international HR team, including a mix of 3PL-focused and HR generalists for Zalando employees across multiple international sites.
You are responsible for HR support during the ramp-up of new international locations.
You oversee HR participation in tender processes and develop frameworks for HR collaboration with 3PLs and new products.
You collaborate closely with Employee Relations teams, requiring strong Labour Relations expertise.
You act as the key interface between Zalando HQ and international markets, steering local adaptations of central HR processes and products.
You drive strategic alignment and influence senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted HR partner for senior leaders.
You ensure operational excellence in HR processes, enabling talent acquisition and development at scale.
You build and develop a high-performing team of HR business partners, fostering employee engagement and leadership development.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a business-related field.
You bring 7-10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, including overseeing other HR leaders, with steady progression in HR management over the last 5-7 years.
You have a proven track record of leading and developing HR professionals, ideally in logistics or a production/non-overhead environment.
You are experienced in managing performance and driving organizational effectiveness.
You have expertise in organizational design and leading large teams through change management processes, with startup experience being an advantage.
You demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly in environments undergoing significant change or transformation.
