As the Senior HR Business Partner for Lounge by Zalando, you will collaborate closely with business leaders across our Lounge Demand, Markets & Sales, and Customer-Facing Applications teams. You will play a key role in influencing all people-related topics, including organisational design, employee engagement, retention, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Lounge by Zalando is an online shopping club for fashion and lifestyle products across Europe. We offer our members daily, time-limited sale campaigns with discounts of up to 75% off the recommended retail price. However, Lounge by Zalando is so much more than discounts - we turn Explore Mode: ON. We take our customers on a treasure hunt, and showcase great deals from sought-after labels to niche brands, from famous international names to trendy luxury brands. WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You act as a thought partner to senior leaders, offering inspiration, advice, and coaching to enhance their leadership effectiveness and build high-performing teams.

  • You co-design and implement the people roadmap for your business units.

  • You lead organizational change by driving organizational design efforts and empowering leaders to take ownership and manage change effectively.

  • You provide expertise in performance management, compensation & benefits, career development, and other personnel-related areas.

  • You proactively initiate and lead P&O projects, collaborating cross-functionally to leverage resources and best practices, fostering a culture that aligns with our values and promotes diversity and inclusion.

  • You autonomously consult, inspire, and enable business leaders on a wide range of people-related topics, particularly in performance management, compensation & benefits, and career development.

  • You actively use people KPIs and employee surveys as steering tools to maintain and strengthen the health of business units, providing insights and translating them into actionable initiatives that can be broadly adopted.

  • You champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering an inclusive work environment.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You bring a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in HR business partnering, ideally within an international, large, fast-paced, and dynamic organization.

  • You possess strong capabilities in organizational development, process improvement, talent management, recruitment, stakeholder management, and developing tailored solutions.

  • You have prior knowledge of German labor law, with experience working alongside a works council being a strong advantage.

  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, with proven experience in leveraging data insights and applying findings effectively in practice.

  • You have experience working as a strategic HR business partner, collaborating with leaders and engaging with the broader organization.
